He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hansford and Edna Bertha Hanks Welch. He is survived by: his wife Carol Shupe Welch; his daughters, Kristy Welch Woods (Ron) and Lyndsey Welch Brady (Buddy); his stepson David D. Vaught; his brother Jimmy Welch (Linda); his grandchildren, Lane Woods, Aubrey Arnold, Haley Arnold (Brad Womack), Olivia Brady and George Brady, III; his great grandchild Brayden Womack; and his nephews, Jimmy Don and Tony.
