It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Shumate (Hillsville, Virginia), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arlis Shumate; her former husband Joe Roumillat; and her siblings, Jean Dalton and Hayward Ballance. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Linda Casey (John) of Long Beach, MS; her sister Kimberly Chambers of Greenville, SC; and her grandchild Doris Sanders of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Mountain Valley Hospice.
