She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jackson and Neda Florence Crowder; her husband Virgil Wade Sharp; her son-in-law Robert Miles Slusher; her grandson Robert Slusher, Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Crowder, Michael Crowder and Fay Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Slusher, Nathan Sharp (Sandra), Gina Turner (Wayne) and Tina Shaffner; and her sisters, Barbara Barber, Kay Williams (Carney) and Rita Bowman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
