He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Holshouser; and his sister Barbara Ann Easter. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Holshouser; his children, Brian Holshouser (Amy Goad) and Beverly Walls; his grandchildren, Kelsey McGuire (J. C.) and Bolen Holshouser; his stepgrandson Brandon Brazile; and his great grandchildren, Greycen McGuire and Ray Lynn McGuire.
