She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ralph Elwood Roope of Hillsville; her son Gary Roope; her daughter-in-law Diane Roope of Hampton; her daughter Melissa Mills; her son-in-law Ron Mills of Raleigh, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Faye, Charlie Tanner of Florida and Eunice Bartlett of Galax. She was also cherished by four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
