He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Marshall Brady; his children, Pamela Mitchell of Honaker, Howard Brady, Jr. of Williamsburg, Robert Brady of Williamsburg, Wayne Brady of Williamsburg and Fred Brady of Hillsville; and his sister Lila Branscome of Woodbridge. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rome Missionary Church.
