He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Adin and Oretha Vaught Tilley. He is survived by: his wife Rose Tilley; his children, John Tilley (Melissa) of Raphine, Paul Tilley (Kimberly) of Galax, David Tilley (Kalley) of Waynesboro, Lisa Geisler (Jay) of Burlington, NC and Sarah Terry of Galax; and his siblings, Herbert Tilley (Mary) of Warner Robins, GA, Ray Tilley of White Marsh, MD, Tick Tilley of Sabine, WV, Rondell Tilley of Ravencliff, WV, Randell Tilley of Oceana, WV, Roger Tilley of Oceana, WV, Patty Byars (Freman) of Crown Point, IN, Ethel Day (Roger) of Glen Fork, WV and Brenda Tilley of Maben, WV. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
