She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Lineberry and Brooks Lineberry; her husband John W. Akers; and her daughter Shirley Driver. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy (Betty Akers), Sheila (Wayne Hanks) and Sharlene Powell; her grandchildren, Stacy (Weston Bond), Kelly Driver, LeAnn (Eric Jones), Dana (Michael Collins), Jonathan (Melissa Hanks), Kara (Dustin Richardson), Megan (Anthony Ruggeri), Joshua (Ashley Hanks), Kyleigh (Preston Choate) and William (Maria); and her sister Ethel Whitlow. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
