He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ward and Emma Lefalene Sizemore Kemp; and his sister Novella Lawson. He is survived by: his son Justin Nathaniel Kemp; his grandchildren, McKijah Avery Kemp, Daustin Malachi Kemp and Jettison Ezekiel Kemp; and his siblings, Bernita Harris, Diann Stump (Pete), Debbie Austin, Patsy Black, Shirley Kemp, Linda Branscome (Donnie), Kenneth Harris, David Kemp and C. W. Kemp (Tina). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Flowers would be appreciated; however, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
