He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Ray Phillips and Lavina Marshall Phillips; his brothers, Lucas, Elwood, Edwin and Emory; and his great grandchildren, Alec, Brenden and Connor Guynn.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Franklin Phillips; his sons, Chip Phillips (Martha), Frankie Phillips (Angie) and Bradley Phillips (Sheila); his grandchildren, Jennifer Long, Jordan, Sydney Butterworth, Jason, Ashley Guynn, David, Ryan Phillips, Brogan Phillips and Landon Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Harper Long, Emorie Butterworth Declan Butterworth and Aiden Guynn.
