He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira F. Burnett and Gladys S. Burnett; his brother Garland E. Burnett; his wife Elizabeth H. Burnett; and his niece Diane B. Christian.
He is survived by: his sister Virginia B. Beasley (George Jr.); his nephew George Beasley III (Dawn); and his friends, Linda and Tom Marlow. He is also survived by many other friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Varina Episcopal Church in Roland's honor.
