He was predeceased by: his parents, John Madison Saunders and Kathryn Langguth; his son John Arthur; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Johanna Knape (Joey); his children, Heidi Rogers (Jeff), Frederick Saunders (Ana), Gretchen Macmillan (Jay) and Katrine Farrar (Loren); his grandchildren, Scott, Matt, Jake, Kate, Cole, Shane, Grace, Wade, Myles and Henry; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Dawson and Phyllis Saunders. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
