He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his brother Marshall. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca (Ron Rise) and Leonard Jr. (Suzie); and his grandsons, Ronald, Matthew, Michael, Christopher and Jonathan. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Green Funeral Chapel (721 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (750 Peachtree St, Herndon, VA 20170). An entombment was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the National Memorial Park (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042).
