He is survived by: his wife Sharon Wardle Harrington; his sons, Christopher M Harrington (Julie), Kenneth M Harrington (Jennifer) and Daniel J "D. J." Harrington (Kelly); his former spouse Dale Earl Denner; his grandchildren, Jessica Cookinham (Daniel), Christopher Harrington, Kaitlyn Harrington, Briana Harrington, Abigail Harrington and Savana Harrington; his great grandchildren, Lilly Cookinham and Connor Cookinham; his siblings, Christine Hilliker (William), James C Harrington, Jr. and Moira Lane (David); and his brother-in-law Eric L Wardle (Marion). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ken's memory to the American Cancer Society or the PBS Foundation.
