With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Louise Mason (Herndon, Virginia), who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband J. Hilary Mason; her parents, J. Richard Bush and Henrietta R. Gray Bush; and her siblings, Adolphus, Jenkins, Eunice, Edwin and James.

She is survived by: her children, Francine Harmon (Edwin), Henrietta Mulbah, Hilaria Mason-Moore (Craig), Hilma Mason, Edwin Bruce Mason and Lassanah Tarr (Isata); her sisters, Henrietta Brewer and Josephine Eastman; and her grandchildren, Breanna, Edwin "ELuz", Pehledee, Wenwu of Larwuson, Josiah, Jonathan and Jordan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
