She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Edward and Katherleen Zelle Blanton Whitlow; and her husband Henry W. Carwile. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia C. Jones Kurtis and Henry W. Carwile, Jr.; her grandchildren, Tracey C. Boyer Ben and Kendall C. Ovalle Tomas; her great grandchildren, Caden, Lynden, Liam Hottle, A. J. Jones and Kristina McCloud; her sister Evelyn W. Marshall of Lynchburg; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Dixie W. Whitlow of Alton, Trudy G. Whitlow of Annandale and Verna Carwile Harris of Wakefield.
