She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Leon Vipperman; her children, Tessa Vipperman King and Willie Leon "Butch" Vipperman, Jr.; her brothers, Tommy Flippin, Walter Flippin, Jr. and James Flippin; her granddaughter Jane Workinger; and her daughter-in-law Gwen Vipperman Boone.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Vipperman Workinger of Martinsville, VA and James C. Vipperman (Darnell Meeks Vipperman) of Marblehead, MA; her sisters, Hester Boggs of Tallahassee, FL and Mildred Cox of Martinsville, VA; her grandchildren, Tammy Vipperman (Paul McCarthy), Tonya Rockett, Melissa King (Scott), Shannan Lindhjem, Nicholas Vipperman (Abby), Chris Andrews, Laura Harden and Ben Workinger; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Rockett, Lilly Rockett, Leon McCarthey, Magnus McCarthy, Graham Shiltz, Conner Lindhjem, Brady Lindhjem, Gus Vipperman, Bliss Vipperman, Charlotte Vipperman, Emily Andrews, Jonathan Andrews and Scarlett Harden.
