Irene Wilson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Wilson (Henry, Virginia), born in Sutherland, Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Airy Bates and Thomas Bates; and her siblings, Dorothy Ademujohn, Thomas Bates, Marshall Bates and Freddie Bates.

She is survived by: her husband Henry Giles; her brother Darryl Wayne Wilson; her granddaughter Elleana; her children, Henry Michael Wilson, Sutherland of Virginia, Juan Wendell Wilson (Thomila), Terry DeVone Wilson and Valencia Faye Tate; her grandchildren, Juankneca Wycale Wilson and Michael Caleb Wilson (Richmond); her great grandchildren, Jiyiahe Lewis, Jiyeonn Lewis, Jiyilique Lewis and Jiyizale Lewis; her sister-in-law Dorothy Bates; and her cousin Thelma B. Jones. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
