She was predeceased by: her parent Lloyd Austin (Rev); her husband Henry Ford Salyer; her children, Sharon Salyer Jessee and Kenneth Joe Salyer; and her sister Elsie Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Jean Jordan (Salyer) of Castlewood and Darnis Glen Salyer of Castlewood; her son-in-law Richard W. Jessee; her siblings, Robert Joe Austin (Gaye) of Moody and Magdalene Meade (Nathan) of Castlewood; her grandchildren, Shawn C. Jordan of Castlewood, Brian S. Salyer of Wise, Kelly LeAnn Salyer of Castlewood, Bobbi Jo Jessee Dingus (Tim Dingus) of Castlewood and Joshua Wayne Jessee (Celia) of Denver Colorado; and also, Rutledge and Timothy Craig Austin of Moody. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
