He is survived by: his wife Shirley P. Townsend; his daughter Shreco Thompson; and his siblings, Linda T. Humphrey and Lonnie Townsend. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law, devoted Johnnie Muse, Jr.,; sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (115 E. Brookland Park Blvd 23222). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Scott's Chapel (115 E. Brookland Park Blvd 23222).
