Charles Joseph Schilken Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Joseph Schilken in Henrico, Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Jacob Schilken and Regis Henry Schilken; his sister Nancy Krebs; his brother-in-law Ken Krebs; his brother Regis Schilken; his sister-in-law Jennie Schilken; his friend Marilyn Garstka; and his son Mark Schilken.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen McDonough Schilken; his children, Kim Ludwig (Dwight), Chuck Schilken Jr. (Elizabeth) and Karen Tucker (Billy); his grandchildren, Jay, Nick, Ben, Sam, Eric, Ginny and Jason; and his brother-in-law Jim McDonough (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In celebration of his life, his family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org) or the Make-A-Wish Foundation (wish.org).
