He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Jett and Mitchell Jett; and his sisters, Jane Walters and Gertrude Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Childs Jett; his daughters, Brenda Allen and Vickie Garcia (Steve); his grandchildren, Victoria Tuthill (George), Ashley Dawson (Lewis), Sara Newsome, Harold Sampson, III (Melissa) and Christopher Sampson; his stepchildren, Debbie Childs Harper (Ken) and Norman Childs (Janet); his stepgrandchildren, Chris Harper (Yancel), Kristen Holland (Wesley) and Kaylee Childs; and his brothers, Jimmie Jett (Virginia Mae), Johnny Jett (Ann), Mitchell Jett (Sue), Wallace Jett and Raymond Lee Jett. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
