He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Howard and Lucy Green Skelton; and his wife Lena Skelton. He is survived by: his children, Grace Skelton Connor (Michael) and Milton Howard Skelton, Jr. (Tish Coale); and his sister Mary Ann Wathall. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
