He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth A. Van Scoy Sr. (Cap); and his brother-in-law Jeff Huff. He is survived by: his mother Elfriede Van Scoy; his wife Pam; his children, Austin Van Scoy (Simi), Joey Van Scoy (Sonia), David Van Scoy (Lauren), Paul Van Scoy (Hanna) and Nat Van Scoy; his grandchildren, Kenny, Emily, Felix, Stella, Holden and Silas; his sisters, Claudia Hidey (Ray), Virginia Van Scoy (Earl), Linda Terchunian (Dean) and Patricia Huff; his friends, Lou Boudreaux (Lena), George Copeland (Sylvia) and Jose DeLeon (Bonnie); and his pet Piper. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
