He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Zarza and Eva Hugg Zarza (Gail Smith Zarza); and his children, Sherryl Billot and Jason Dougher. He is survived by: his significant other Gail; his children, Susan Merrell (Suzy) and Kenneth Dougher (David); his daughter-in-law Michele; his grandchildren, Meghan, Lauren, Kevin, Cullen, Sage, Finn, Hans and Justin; his great grandchildren, Wells and Autumn; his sister Eva Rezza (Shing); his niece Evie; and his nephews, Marty and Tony.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Currie Funeral Home (116 E Church St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Good Luck Cellars (1025 Goodluck Rd, Kilmarnock, VA 22482).
