He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Braxton and Lorenzo Braxton (Charlotte Capps Braxton); his siblings, Jesse Dalton Braxton, Rufus "Knot" Braxton, Ray Braxton, Roy Braxton, Elbert "Tuck" Braxton, Annabelle Braxton Blalock and Maggie Ruth Braxton; and his grandson Carter Braxton Mann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Braxton Myers (Mike) of Spotsylvania and Marie Mann of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Joseph Howard Mann (Jennifer) of Reedville, Elizabeth Mann of Afton, Hunter Braxton Myers (Maddie) of Stafford and Madison Layne Myers of Spotsylvania; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Carson, Brennan, Chloe, Isiah, Macklynn and Kyle.
