He was predeceased by: his sons, Gerald and Gary Dillard. He is survived by: his wife Edith Dillard of Virginia; his sons, Charles Dillard (Angela) and Dana Dillard; and his grandchildren, Garland, Kristy, Geoffrey, Gary, Gabe, Ben, Amber, Andrea, Rachel and Lauren. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
