He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick H. Horwath, Sr. and Hilda Horwath (Blum); his children, Frederick "Ricky" Horwath, III, Robert Matthew Horwath and Ann Pamela Hammond; his granddaughter Candace Horwath; and his sister Ruth Muirhead.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Therese "Punkie" Horwath (Stansbury); his children, Daniel M. Horwath (Lisa), Laura Dehn Adcock (Rob) and Patricia M. Nashwinter (Robert); his son-in-law Timothy Hammond; his grandchildren, Martin Hammond (Mary-Ellen), Amanda Patterson (Adam), Ronald Dehn, Daniel Horwath Jr., Rebecca Horwath, Abigail Nashwinter and Nathaniel Nashwinter (Isabella); his great grandchildren, Augustus Hammond, Gabriel Hammond, Allison Patterson, Aaron Patterson and Noah Hazen; and his sister Kathy Paskewitz. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardesty Funeral Home - Gambrills (851 Annapolis Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
