We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2021, at the age of 88, Deloris Lewis of Heathsville, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ell Stonewall Bryant and Doris Gertrude Lewis Bryant; her daughter Patricia Marie Lewis; and her significant other John Heamstead. She is survived by : her children, Cindi Lewis (Jeff Epstein) and Ira Lunceford "Buddy" Lewis Jr.; her grandchildren, Joseph Lewis, Jacob Lewis, LCpl Daniel Lewis, U. S. Marines, Jennifer Clendaniel (Scott Clendaniel), Jonathan Garrett (Audrey Garrett) and Randy Cole; and her great grandchildren, Maximus, Violet Clendaniel, Charles and Katherine Garrett.
Due to Covid restrictions the family will receive visitation from immediate family and close friends, one hour prior to the service at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel. Please note both facilities require masks to be worn at all times and practice 6 feet social distancing.
