He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clyde Pitt and Louise Kidd Pitt. He is survived by: his wife Jean Abbott Pitt; and his children, Rebecca Claire Pitt, Christina Pitt Wright (Ed), Eric (Lisa) and Stephanie Heuerman. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
