It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Hanes of Heathsville, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Beverly Crouch and Clonnie Crouch; and her brother Beverly Crouch of Warrenton, Virginia.. She is survived by : her husband William B. Hanes (Bill); her daughter Melinda Dickerson Hartman (Josh Hartman); her sister Judy Crouch Carroll (Michael Carroll); her stepdaughters, Cary Lee Hanes (Jeff Turner) and Cameron Hanes; her grandchildren, Gray Hetzel, Beckham Hetzel (Becks), Carter Hanes, Gracie Hanes, Jack Hartman and Charlotte Hartman; her niece Allison Coppage; and her nephew Steven (Stephanie Crouch). She is also survived by her family and friends.
