With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Van Stephen Phelps of Haymarket, Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl P. Phelps and Charlotte A. Phelps (Levi). He is survived by: his children, Suzanne M. Verner (David) of Springfield, VA and David P. Phelps of Lorton, VA; his sister Stacy Coltrin (Martin Boise); and his grandsons, Nicholas A. Verner and Zachary J. Verner.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association, in loving memory of Van S Phelps.
