It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sydney Joy Braley of Haymarket, Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sydney Joy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sydney Joy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her children, Mark L. Brooks (Maria) and Cindy J. Pleytez (Eddy); her granddaughters, Kayla Brooks, Mara Brooks and Ava Pleytez; and her siblings, Jackie Robertson, Mike Duddleson, Barry Robertson and Denise Corder.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Yorkshire Free Will Baptist Church (7620 Chestnut St, Manassas, VA 20111). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
