It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A. Dowden (Haymarket, Virginia), who passed away on January 27, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse John B. Dowden Jr.; and her children, Richard Dowden of Union Hall, VA, Linda Minor and Brenda Bull. She was also cherished by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Arcola United Methodist Church.
