We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2019, at the age of 89, Lilly Whitis (Haymarket, Virginia), born in Richardsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Starkey and Callie Estelle Starkey (Heflin); and her sisters, Almeda Hough and Lucy Wingrove. She is survived by: her husband Luke R. Whitis of Warrenton, VA; her daughters, Janice May Collins (Bill) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Jeanette Marie Lion (Paul); her grandchildren, Wes Lion, James Godlove (Amanda), David Godlove (Stephanie) and Michelle Baker (Gary); and her great grandchildren, Nicolas, Jacob, Alex and Johnny Godlove.
