She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thornton and Margaret Thornton; her husband Col. Joseph Paratore; her son Leon; and her siblings, Eugene, Helen, Joseph, Frank, Agnes and John.
She is survived by: her children, Jo Anne Adkinson (late Michael), Mary Ann Kupar (Jim), Michael, Joseph Jr. (Amy) and Jimmy (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Brian (Jenn), Jackie, Charlie, Jake, TJ, Caitlin, Daniel, Tucker, Maddi, Joseph Cameron and Charlotte; and her great grandchildren, Miles, Hazel and Ali. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
