It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Mitchell (Haymarket, Virginia), born in Aldie, Virginia, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mitchell and Rebecca Mitchell (Powers); his daughter Wendy Mitchell; and his siblings, Margaret Mitchell, Robert, Wallace, Charlie and George Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Mitchell; his siblings, Arthur "Hop" Mitchell and Karen Waldroupe; his stepchildren, Lisa Hemmer and Michael Johnson; his grandchildren, Kristin Schuster, Nicole Hemmer and Jacob Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Kretzing and Marshall Schuster. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Don's Life will be held at a later date when COVID restrictions are lifted and family and friends can all be together.
