He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Denison Janssen; his son Brian; his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Carlson Overturf, Dr. J. David Carlson, Ralph Overturf and Edward Blumenkranz; and his nephew Jeffrey Carlson.
He is survived by: his father Martin Janssen; his wife Barbara Carlson; his daughters, Kristine Richardson (Rusty), Virginia and Carrie Janssen (Doug Miles) of Daytona Beach; his granddaughters, Kelly, Shannon Richardson and Rebecca Kellert (Al); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Albert Kellert; his sister Nancy Janssen Blumenkranz (Virginia) of Alexandria; and his sisters-in-law, Betsy Cross (Rodger) of Galesburg, IL and Barbara Carlson (David) of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
