She is survived by: her husband Gerald Grimes; and her children, Steve (Pat Grimes), David Grimes (Kathy Bergsteinsson), Debbie Shaw (Charlie Shaw), Paul Grimes and Barbara (Stefan Gotz). She is also survived by daughter), as well as ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She encouraged donations to Greenwich Presbyterian Church of Nokesville, VA, where she was a member.
