It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa Joannes Allen of Hayes, Virginia, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Joannes and Eva Joannes. She is survived by: her husband Floyd F. Allen; and her daughters, Christine Blaylock (Doug), Marguerite Coffie (Frank E. Bristow), Joanne Sreves (Roger), Cynthia Sweeney Eva (Thomas M.) and Laura Harrington. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
