He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Sterling and Lucille West Sterling; and his son Bill Sterling. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Jennifer L. Owens (Stephen); his grandchildren, Will (Heather), Kristen (Tyler), Jacob (Lindsey) and Stephen; his great grandchildren, Lexi, Noah, Waverly, Everly, Landon, Rylan, Trevor and Ian; his siblings, Linda Kemp, Wayne Sterling, Janice Booker (Al) and Dennis Sterling (Robin); and his sister-in-law Janet Brown (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
