She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Gray Jessie and William Thomas Jessie; her daughter Robin; her grandson Casey; and her husband Garland Hugo Clay.
She is survived by: her extremely protective dachshund Ginger; her children, Garland "Sam" Samuel Clay and Evelyn "Gayle" Clay; her grandchildren, Amanda "Mandy" April Hoover, Kyle, Ryan and Caitlyn; her great grandchildren, Logan, Kaiden, Jack, Riley, Bailey, Mia, Alaina and Avery; her sister Nell; and her close friend Rosie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hogg Funeral Home (3098 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Hayes, VA 23072). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3609 Providence Rd, Hayes, VA 23072).
