She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Coates and Oleary Coates; and her sister Mary Jo. She is survived by: her husband Jackie; her children, Tommy, Cindy and Annette; and her siblings, Jerline Grant, Shirley Coates, Suzane Haywood, Linda Hall, Oscar Coates, Jr., Roy Lee Coates and Kenneth Wayne Coates. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
