He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean Jenkins. He is survived by: his son Gregory B. Jenkins; his daughter-in-law Susan Haywood Jenkins; his granddaughters, Lauren N. Felger and Holly D. Baker (CJ); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Savannah, Riley, Jacob Felger and Brentley McCook.

In memory of Reuben memorial contributions may be made to the Guinea Heritage Association, PO Box 411, Bena, VA 23018.
