He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Scales (Allen) and Ray McElligott, Jr. (Nancy); his grandchildren, Anthony Coates, Andrew McElligott, Dawn McElligott and Belinda Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, Austin Coates, Jacob McElligott, Carter Hayes, Carson McElligott, Lyman Hayes, Preston Hudgins and Leta Rhodes.
