He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Odell Brown and Annie Elizabeth West Brown; and his siblings, Virginia Brown, Billy Brown and Mary Lee Horsley.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his daughters, Lisa Ayers, Sylvia Britton and Susie Robins; and his siblings, Paul Brown, EllaMae Holloway, Odell Brown and Joyce Nelson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
