He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry West and Hermie Hall West; and his brother Lewis Henry West. He is survived by: his wife Martha P. West; his children, Susan Roach, Mark West (Amy), Shawn West (Lori), Carl Frisby, Jennifer Layden (Delmas) and Amy Moore (Stuart); his grandchildren, Lorin, Erica, Elie, Aiden, Asa, Ethan, Savhanna, Sydney and Campbell; and his sister Lola Mae Green.
