It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Hart Whitenack of Hayes, Virginia, born in Rhodell, West Virginia, who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther McKinley and Mary Jane Reedy Hart; her husband Garmon Whitenack; her son James Luther Whitenack; and her siblings, Beulah Peery and Earl Hart.

She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Gagnon; her grandchildren, Frank Oberle, Analisa Gagnon, Emilee Gagnon and Bretney Oberle; her great grandchildren, Hayden Gagnon and Connor Oberle; and her siblings, Joy, Elaine (Jerry), Connie (Frank), Jim (Nora), Aubrey (Janet), Carl (Shelma), Randall (Barbara) and Roger (Lahoma).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required, and social distancing is mandatory.
