We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2020, at the age of 94, James Harold Wright of Hayes, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Haynes Wright; his parents, Reverend James Marshall Wright and Annie Katheryn Gantt Wright; and his sister Regina Donaldson (William Donaldson). He is survived by: his children, Judy Maxie (Leroy), Byron Wright (Donna), Pam Dickerson (George) and Patricia Shohan (Joe); his sister Lavica Apple (Alton); his grandchildren, Stephen Maxie, Selenia Wright, Christi Brubaker, Jared Wright, Cheris Wright, Sydney Shohan and Lauren Shohan; and his stepgranddaughters, Daphne and Emily Musser. He is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

In memory of our loved one, memorial contributions may be made to Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue, PO Box 9, Bena, Virginia 23018.
