He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Dunford and Mamie Dunford (Foleno). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, David Dunford of Newport News, Debbie Logan of Hampton and Marsha Gualandri of Williamsburg; his stepson Eric Weatherly of Florida; and his siblings, Carol Lacks of Hampton, Peg Woodard of North Carolina and Anthony Dunford of Georgia. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations, can be made to the Gloucester – Mathews Humane Society.
